Allenstown Budget Committee
Members Present:

Jennifer called the meeting to order 6:15 p.m.
Fire Warrant
To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of Twenty Five Thousand Dollars ($25,000) to be placed in the Fire Department Equipment Capital Reserve Fund and to further authorize the Allenstown Board of Selectmen to act as agents to expend. (This article is recommended by the Board of Selectmen)
Dan made a motion to accept the article, Robin seconded. The motion passed (9 yes, 1 abstain).
School Warrant
Shall the School District vote to raise and appropriate the cost items set forth in the collective bargaining agreement reached between the Allenstown School Board and the Allenstown Paraprofessional Association for the 2005/06, 2006/07 and 2007/08 fiscal years which calls for the following increase in salaries and benefits:
2005/06 $41,139
2006/07 $24,055
2007/08 $23,988
and further to raise and appropriate the sum of $41,139 for the 2005/06 fiscal year, such sum representing the additional costs attributable to the increase in salaries and benefits agreed to by the Allenstown School Board and the Allenstown Paraprofessional Association.

For the 2006/07 fiscal year the increase is for:
Wages $19,926

Annuity $1,760
Life Insurance $0
Longevity $750
Extra Work Time $224
Workshops/Course $0
Total $24,055
For the 2007/08 fiscal year the increase is for:
Wages $19,926
Salary Related $1,594
Annuity $2,244
Life Insurance $0
Longevity $0
Extra Work Time $224
Workshops/Course $0
Total $23,988
Peter made a motion to accept the article, Dan seconded. The motion passed (12 yes).
Peter made a motion to recess, Dan seconded at 6:30 pm. The motion passed unanimously.
