SELECTMEN'S PUBLIC MEETING 1/09/06
Sandra A. McKenney, Chairperson for the Board of Selectmen, opened the meeting at 7:07 p.m. Present at the meeting: Sandra A. McKenney, Thomas R. Gilligan, Selectman, Peter A Viar, Selectman: Kelley Collins, Administrative Assistant.
Old Business:
Review and approve minutes of 1-4-06. Tom made a motion to accept the 1-4-06 minutes as amended.
Seconded by Peter. Motion passed 3-0.
Amended page 1 ~ (Plan NH) Board agreed to support Plan NH & write a letter signifying their support.
Amended page 3 ~ (Web Site) Peter stated not Tom
Amended page 3 ~ (Cameras) Peter is waiting to hear from his supplier.
Amended page 3 ~ (Infield Mix) Whether or not they will defray the cost.
Amended page 4 ~ (Town Report Bids) T.Pine no quote given.
Fema
Tom stated that the Town does not qualify for the FEMA grant. The grant is to help in either the purchase of land along a riverbank of water, whether it is ocean, pond, lake or river. The purchase of structures along a body of water, such as homes any structures that are private use. Any project on going to build a dam or to fortify a dam or to shore up a riverbank. Tom is still looking into this to see if there is angle to direct. Tom stated that he has the States web site.
Radio Station
Sandy informed the Board that she did speak with Tom Gautheir from WKXL and will try to meet with him tomorrow.
Town Report
Board reviewed and discussed the Board of Selectmen's article for the annual report. The Board also discussed selecting a printer for the Town Report. Peter made a motion to accept Town and Country to print the Town Report for the sum of $3,038.50. Seconded by Tom. Motion passed 3-0.
Budget
Review and discussion outline took place for presentation of the budget at public hearing on 1-12-06. Warrant articles were also discussed.

Health Officer
Board discussed possibilities for Town Health Officer. Chief McGongile is acting Health Officer until a new officer is appointed.
BOS Meetings
Board discussed upcoming Board of Selectmen's meetings for January and February.
Assessing Contract
Considerable discussion took place with the assessing contract. Peter made a motion to accept the contract for this year assessment from Corcoran Consulting Inc. Seconded by Sandy. Motion passed 2-1.
Chief McGongile sent an e-mail to the Board about security concerns with the Town Hall door.
Non Public Session RSA 91A: 3, II (a)
Peter made a motion to go into non-public under RSA 91A: 3,II (a) @ 8:48 p.m. Seconded by Tom. Roll call Tom yes, Peter yes, Sandy yes, Tom made a motion to leave non-public session @ 10:00 p.m. Roll call Tom yes, Peter yes, Sandy yes. Public meeting resumed @ 10:00 p.m.
Public Hearing
Kelley and the Board discussed the public hearing and what information will be passed out.
Sandy made a motion, seconded by Tom to adjourn the meeting at 10:03 P.M. Motion passed
