SELECTMEN’S MEETING JANUARY 7, 2002
Arthur G. Houle, Chairman of the Board of
Selectmen, opened the public meeting at 8:12 PM.
Present were Arthur G. Houle, Benjamin E.
Fontaine, Jr., Sandra A. McKenney, Selectmen; and David M. Jodoin,
Administrative Assistant.
The Selectmen discussed Purchase Orders for
the Police Department and the Building Committee.
On motion of Sandra A. McKenney, seconded
by Benjamin E. Fontaine, Jr., to not recommend the petition for the Fire truck,
motion passed unanimously.
The Selectmen met with Al Remillard from
Parks and Rec. Commission, to discuss issues at the Recreation Center.
A motion was made by Benjamin E. Fontaine,
Jr., seconded by Sandra A. McKenney, to take $179.37 from the Public Safety
Capital Reserve Fund. Motion passed unanimously.
A motion was made by Benjamin E. Fontaine,
Jr., seconded by Sandra A. McKenney, to take $14.75 from the HazMat Capital
Reserve Fund. Motion passed unanimously.
The Selectmen will meet on January 14th
with the Network Plus representatives to look into a new phone system.
A motion was made by Benjamin E. Fontaine,
Jr., seconded by Sandra A. McKenney, to not accept the agreement of DCD
Construction to maintain his road. Motion passed unanimously.
The Selectmen discussed the work log
received from the employees.
The Selectmen approved unanimously the
minutes of the December 17th minutes.
On motion of Sandra A. McKenney, seconded
by Benjamin E. Fontaine, Jr., the meeting adjourned at 10:20 PM. Motion passed
unanimously.
