SELECTMEN’S PUBLIC MEETING 2/4/2002
Arthur G. Houle, Chairman of the Board of
Selectmen, opened the public meeting at 7:00 PM.
Present were Chairman Houle, Benjamin E.
Fontaine, Jr., Sandra A. McKenney, Selectmen; and David M. Jodoin,
Administrative Assistant.
NEW BUSINESS
The Selectmen met to review town owned
properties. After reviewing all properties, the Selectmen will research the
deeds and get the following properties ready for auction: Map 102, Lot 6; Map
111, Lot 2; Map 112, Lot 246; Map 112, Lot 248; Map 420, Lots 116 & 115;
Map 402, Lot 109; Map 408, Lot 4; Map 408, Lot 5; Map 409, Lot 5; Map 410, Lot
23; Map 410, Lot 25; Map 410, Lot 29; Map 410, Lot 32 and Map 410, Lot 35.
The Selectmen will review again and send
the deeds to Attorney Bedard for review.
OLD BUSINESS
The Selectmen signed checks, reviewed mail
and abatement applications.
On motion of Sandra A. McKenney, seconded
by Benjamin E. Fontaine, Jr.,the minutes of January 28, 2002 were approved
unanimously.
The Selectmen received a letter from Fire
Chief Dionne informing them that he had trouble with the generator and it could
cost as much as $32,000 for a replacement. The Board decided to table this
issue until there was more clarification on the issue.
On motion of Sandra A. McKenney, seconded
by Benjamin E. Fontaine, Jr., the meeting adjourned at 9:08 PM.
