Selectmen's Public Meeting 3/12/2004

The Selectmen held a Selectmen's public meeting on Friday, March 12, 2004, at 9:00 AM to discuss the default budget voted in on March 9^th. Present at the meeting were the Selectmen; Sandra McKenney, Arthur G. Houle, Peter A. Viar; and Administrative Assistant, David Jodoin.

The purpose of the meeting was to make cuts to the budget because at Town meeting, the default budget passed and cuts have to be made in the amount of $185,000.00

The Selectmen went over the entire budget and made suggestions here and there but did not make final decisions as they want to discuss the cuts with all department heads.

A motion was made by Arthur Houle, seconded by Peter Viar to go into Non-Public according to RSA 91-A III-2 (a) for a personnel issue. Roll call vote: Sandra McKenney, yes; Arthur Houle, yes; Peter Viar, yes. Motion passed.

The public meeting resumed at 11:03 AM.

The default budget currently stands at $2,917,991.00.

The meeting adjourned at 11:53 AM.
