SELECTMEN'S PUBLIC MEETING 12/22/03

The Selectmen's meeting was held on Monday, December 22, 2003. Chairperson Sandra A. McKenney opened the meeting at 7 PM. Present was Chairperson McKenney, Benjamin E. Fontaine, Jr., and Arthur G. HHHHoule, Selectmen; David M. Jodoin, Administrative Assistant. Also present were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Tigges.

The Selectmen discussed a neighborhood situation with Mr. and Mrs. Tigges, regarding a 40 foot trailer in the neighbor's yard. Selectman Houle stated that as long as the trailer is registered and on the owner's land, or at a neighbor's yard with his permission, that is acceptable. The owner has satisfied the Court order and the trailer is registered and inspected and the Police Department is looking into the matter.

The Selectmen met with Attorney Biron Bedard and Welfare Officer Marcella inkell Hinkell. On motion of Arthur Houle, seconded by Benjamin Fontaine, to go into Non-Public, according to RSA 91-A 3 II ©, motion passed. Roll call vote: Sandra McKenney, yes; Benjamin Fontaine, yes; Arthur Houle, yes. The Selectmen went into non-public at 7:15 PM.

The Public meeting resumed at 8:20 PM.

Chairperson McKenney stated she called Mrs. Talbot regarding the Cemetery which is accessible through the Talbot's property. It is also accessible through David Beaucher's land. Mrs. Talbot does not mind if the Conservation Commission is in the cemetery, but she stated they are not allowed to step outside of the Cemetery on her land. Laura Bonk will talk with Mr. Beaucher to access the cemetery through his land. Sandra McKenney will also talk to Laura Bonk.

The Public Hearing for the School is January 13^th. The Public Hearing for the Town is January 15^th. The Town Deliberative session will be February 5^th, 9 AM at Allenstown Elementary School.

A motion was made by Benjamin Fontaine, seconded by Arthur Houle, to accept the minutes of the Selectmen's Public meeting of December 15^th. Motion passed.

The Safety Committee is scheduled to meet on January 5^th or January 12^th with Tom McDermott. Chairperson McKenney will notify the members when she is able to confirm the date with Mr. McDermott.

On motion of Arthur Houle, seconded by Benjamin Fontaine, the meeting adjourned at 8:45 PM.
