SELECTMEN'S PUBLIC MEETING 9/8/2004

The Chairman of the Board of Selectmen, Arthur G. Houle, opened the meeting at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, September 8, 2004. Present: Arthur G. Houle, Sandra A. McKenney, Peter A. Viar, Selectmen; David M. Jodoin, Administrative Assistant. In the audience: Carol Merrill from the Budget Committee and Monica Nann-Smith, Building Inspector.

The Selectmen met with Monica Nann-Smith regarding the 2005 Building Department budget. There was discussion on items in the budget and increases and decreases were noted. A motion was made by Peter Viar, seconded by Arthur Houle, for a bottom line of $23,545.00, with the Inspector's salary at $21,060.00 for 30 hours a week. Roll call vote on the salary line: Peter Viar, yes; Sandra McKenney, no; Arthur Houle, yes. Motion passed.

A motion was made by Sandra McKenney, seconded by Peter Viar, to accept the minutes of 9/1/2004. Motion passed.

The Selectmen worked on the smaller budgets:
